Colleen is very involved with promoting Twin Cities in Tucson

Twin Cities - Our Mission

Our mission is to cultivate and maintain a strong relationship between the cities of Tucson, Arizona and Roscommon, Ireland to encourage cultural understanding, community involvement, and economic development.

 

  • Develop long term lines of communication between Tucson and Roscommon, promoting cooperation an international level.

  • Provide opportunity for individual citizens to experience a wide range of cultural activities, both within their own communities and through international exchange.

  • Support the development and strengthening of cultural, economic, and education communities in both locations.

  • Collaborate with organizations working on similar projects in order to enhance community visibility and strengthen program effectiveness.

Fred Kelly's Birthday is JUne 29th. He would be 100 this year.

While in the Dallas area, Colleen and Yvonne saw several shows. This is the cast of the touring company "The Wonderful Wizard of Words". A tribute to the music of Harold Arlen. He wrote many songs you would know including  That Old Black Magic,  Stormy Weather, I've Got The World on a String and the entire score of The Wizard of Oz. Great show and fabulous voices.

Apologies for any misspelling, the program did not list the names. We got them verbally from the cast.
